Company & Funds Disputes
James has considerable experience of advising directors, shareholders and unit holders in relation to contentious issues affecting companies and funds, including in relation to: –
• alleged breaches of directors’ duties/directors’ misfeasance;
• investment losses;
• applications relating to share registers;
• shareholders disputes;
• unfair prejudice proceedings.
Experience includes advising staff of a leading trust company in relation to the discharge of their duties as directors in the face of allegations of fraud by one shareholder and ongoing solvency issues.
